FAQ's
01
I'm based just outside Cheltenham, will you travel to me?
We can be flexible with travel locations, so get in touch! We can also arrange to meet somewhere a bit closer to get more out of your session e.g. a local park or work!
03
What methods do you use?
Positive Dog Power are proud to be force free, using positive reward based methods to work with you and your dog. This means the dog is more likely to view the sessions as an enjoyable experience and increases their willingness to engage and learn.
02
I haven't got my puppy yet, can you still help?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to get in touch before you get your puppy so you can make the appropriate preparations beforehand for a smooth arrival. This also gives you the chance to ask questions about the breeder and what to prioritise when you start training.
04
How long should I wait between sessions?
This depends a lot on you and your dog! As a general rule, I recommend giving yourself a minimum of 1 week between sessions; this gives you plenty of time to work on the methods provided. However, specific plans will be discussed on a case by case basis.
