Congratulations on your new rescue dog! You’ve made a wonderful choice to give a second chance to a furry friend. But we know it’s not always easy to train a rescue dog. They may have some behaviour issues or fears that need to be addressed.
Our one to one rescue dog training sessions are here for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by their rescue, starting to regret their decision, or just want to learn some new skills! The Positive Dog Power team have an extensive background working in rescue centres so we are confident that we can help you! Taking on a rescue can be a daunting process, but with the right help, you and your new rescue dog can thrive!

Positive Reinforcement Training
We are force free dog trainers! We don’t use any force or intimidation on your rescue dog. Instead, we use rewards and praise to teach them new skills and behaviours. You and your dog will enjoy a strong and happy bond that lasts a lifetime!

We've got years of experience working in rescue centres and with rescue dogs in home environments! We understand the challenges and joys of adopting a rescue dog, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. We won’t judge you or your dog, we’ll just help you make the most of your new relationship!

We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. We tailor our training sessions to suit your rescue dog’s personality, history, and goals. Whether you want to teach them basic skills, or overcome any behavioural issues, we’ve got you covered!

Ongoing Support
We use email, text and phone to continue to support you outside of the one to one sessions. We also provide you with free resources to access at any time! We are a supportive environment, our aim is to help you and your dog thrive!

​All prices are based on locations within 4 miles of Cheltenham. Please note that sessions further than this will be charged an additional travel fee.
